NMC REGISTRATON
To practice in the UK as a Registered Nurse you must be registered with the NMC (Nursing, Midwifery
Council).  There is no exam to take. We will send forms to you and assist as necessary and follow up you
application until you get approval.  This process takes approximately two months.

If you have already started this process, we will need your application number to help expedite your
registration.

INTERVIEWS/JOBS
We have contracts with over 35 hospital/healthcare employers throughout the UK and can place you in
the specialty of your choice.  Interviews can be performed in person, via telephone or by
video-conferencing.

WORK PERMIT
We, together with the hospital, will obtain your work permit through the Department of Employment
(Overseas Labour).  This is currently taking around 4 to 5 weeks.  Work permits are usually granted for 24
months.

ACCOMMODATION
Single accommodation can usually be provided by the hospital within close proximity.  Those with
families will need to obtain separate accommodation and we can assist with this process.

TRAVEL
We will assist with your travel arrangements and ensure that you are met on your arrival in the UK.
